             o The field will be divided into three flights based on your actual score shot at the tournament

        • A chance to win cash or prizes at a challenge hole and a putting contest
        • A 50/50 drawing
        • The overall Battle of the Branches service winner will be awarded the traveling Battle of the                  Branches trophy
            o Each team will be assigned to play for a branch of the service. See the registration form for              how you can input your branch preferences.
         • Several door prize winners will be announced after your match.

Registration Information: The registration form is attached. You can sign up as a full 4-person team or as a three-some, a two-some, or a single player. In these later cases, we will match you up with another team that needs additional players to fill out a 4-person team.

Payment Information: Payment is due with your registration form no later than Wednesday, Sep 4th. Drop off your registration form and your check to the Lodge office or mail them to Battle of the Branches, C/O Dennis Taets, 10 Montera Ave, Fredericksburg, VA. 22406. If you mail your form, ensure that you have allowed sufficient time for it to arrive by Sep 4th. All payments will be refunded if the event is cancelled.
We will be using a “real time” scoring system to expedite compiling of the tournament results. “Golf Genius” enables you to enter your team’s score on a mobile phone after you finish each hole. If you do not have Golf Genius on your phone, please download a free copy of the app before the event.

Tournament Format: 4-person Captain’s Choice. The field will be limited to the first 120 golfers that sign up. Lunch: Mission BBQ will host the lunch which will be served after your match. This will give you a chance to meet with the other players, celebrate your great shots and
commiserate over your not-so-great shots. Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase from the beverage carts at the lunch tent. Be sure to check if you are a door prize winner after you finish your round or during the luncheon. A pay-as-you-go drink cart will be on the course during the tournament.

Cost: $85 per person/$340 for a 4-person team. (Checks only, payable to “Celebrate Veterans Group, Inc.”)

Cost Includes: Greens fee plus cart, driving range, lunch, and a chance to win $25,000 towards the purchase of a new car. Complimentary coffee will be available during registration.

Attire: Proper golf attire required. Golf shirts with collar, slacks or shorts, and soft spiked golf shoes.

Cost: $85.00/person Checks only, made out to “Celebrate Veterans Group, Inc.” Cost includes green fees plus cart, driving range, lunch catered by Mission BBQ, and a chance to win $25,000 towards the purchase of a new car (amateurs only). We will be using Golf Genius to enter your team’s score electronically. Therefore one member of your team will need to have the Golf Genius app downloaded on their phone.
